Function / Description

 

The parks department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the borough parks.  This includes all the youth and adult athletic fields, the Carteret Pond as well as numerous playgrounds throughout the borough.

Department Information

 

To obtain a permit to use a field or a park, you must fill out a permit application form and submit it to the parks department.

If you would like a tree removed along the curbline in front of your home, please contact the Parks Department directly. 


The Borough has ten parks which include numerous amenities such as baseball/softball fields, soccer and football fields, basketball and tennis courts, ponds, walking paths, boccie ball courts, horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, miniature golf course, rock climbing, a fishing pier and more.  Below are a few pictures of parks throughout the Borough.
